BREATHLESS

Breathless is an artistic and cultural initiative that merges creative expression with social awareness, offering a platform where art becomes a powerful tool for communication and transformation. Rooted in the belief that theatre and performance can spark critical thought and inspire change, this project aims to foster new interdisciplinary collaborations, expand professional networks across borders, and engage diverse audiences in a meaningful dialogue about urgent ecological and societal concerns.

At the heart of Breathless is a deep focus on medical ecology, particularly the escalating problem of air pollution in the Balkans - a crisis that affects public health, quality of life, and the environment at large. Through the development of an interactive performance, the project seeks not only to illuminate these pressing issues but also to personalize them, allowing participants and audiences alike to reflect on the physical and psychological consequences of living in polluted environments.
