THE RUNAWAY

As a director, my primary assignment is to deal with human lives because we all live once and have one life. The question is, how do we decide to live?

Our runaway chooses a better life, opposite to living circumstances and the life intended for her. She runs away because love is forbidden for her. Still, she also runs away from other things: hypocrisy, the desire for power, the inequality of the living conditions, the poor mental awareness surrounding her, and many other negativities she is forced to see and swallow.

We can see all city people in the play, those that beg and those that want to be begged, but they all bow to the strong message saying: love is more significant than power. 

Everything is impossible until someone does it. So, the main character is the first one who runs away so that we can see the wall of obstacles put by others collapse because of her bravery.

The play reached unbelievable fame in the theater in which it was initially set. It has been recreated as a project due to the significance of marking 500 years of existence of the Kumanvo town.
